Library

The Library serves in two units as the High School Library and the Elementary School Library. There are more than 41,000 volumes available in our library which is organized and operated according to the contemporary principles of library science. The Library also subscribes to periodicals and newspapers regularly as well as increasing the number of volumes available by buying newly-published books.

Apart from printed material, the Library also offers CDs, electronic records, videos, audio cassettes to both students and staff.
At the computer section of the library CD and Internet service is provided for the students and the staff.

All the records of the Library is also available in electronic form and searching for titles is possible on the Internet.

Medical Services

The main task of the health services is to monitor the health condition of the students continuously.

A physician who is available between 12.00 to 13.30 every day and two full time nurses serve at our schools. The medical personnel monitor the health condition of each student and keep computer records as well as applying first aid during emergency situations at the infirmary fully equipped for this purpose.

The medical personnel also keep an eye on the general health conditions at our schools.

Catering Services
Our catering company possesses ISO 9001 International Quality Standardization and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point-Food Safety)) warrants.

All the personnel in our kitchen get compulsory hygiene education. At the kitchens of the Terakki Schools a total of 127 personnel are employed.

All the personnel employed in the catering service undergo appropriate medical tests quarterly to establish whether they are carriers of viruses or germs. In addition to these quarterly laboratory tests, the personnel is also obliged go through lung controls every six months. Catering personnel regularly attend hygiene instruction sessions.

In addition to the equipment in the 500 square-meter main area, the kitchen consists of meat, vegetables and fruit storage units, shock freezing equipment and deep freeze units in various sizes.

Meals are prepared in our facilities.

All the ingredients used in cooking are subjected to hygiene tests in the laboratory located in the kitchen by food engineers working fulltime in our school kitchens. The meals cooked also undergo tests to determine whether they meet international hygiene standards before being served.
A total of 2,200 people consisting of students, teachers and the entire personnel are served meals daily on our Campus.
