PROJECT TYPE   Comenius 3 / School Partnerships – Network  (Reference Number 11630-CP-1-NL-Comenius-C3PP)

THE AIM OF THE PROJECT   

• A rise in the number of multicultural schools involved in international projects, such as Comenius.
• An increase in the number of ethnic minority girls participating in international projects.
• A training for teaching staff in the thematic areas.
• A manual for schools; a practical handbook with concrete tools for teachers and students, to set up international projects with multicultural classes.
• A website for internal and external communication, including general information on the project
• Electronic newsletters , twice everyschool year for all interested.

• Teachers (Pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational, adult, special needs)
• Teacher trainers
• Headteachers / principals / managers of schools/organisations offering adult education
• Management staff in the institution/organisation
• Pedagocial Support Staff of NGOs and Authorities
• Students
• Parents

NUMBER OF VISITS: One international conference every year, other additional meetings if necessary

ACTIVITIES:

• Providing information, partner-finding and training to schools
• Documenting good practises of network schools
• Empowering young people, and especially ethnic minority girls, to deal with equality and integration through international (virtual) projects
• Informing experts and policymakers about conclusions and recommendations, which should be considered when setting up conditions for internationalisation programmes and projects
